Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman remains top of the Serie A striker ratings after Matchday 32, even amid a noticeable dip in form.
The rankings, owned by reputable publication TuttoMercatoWeb and limited to players evaluated in at least 19 matchdays, place the Nigerian international joint-first alongside teammate Mateo Retegui, both with an average rating of 6.52.
Roma’s Paulo Dybala (6.48), Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram (6.47), and Napoli’s David Neres (6.42) complete the top five in a list curated by the respected Italian outlet.
Lookman has endured a difficult spell since returning from national duty with Nigeria. He has failed to score or assist in his last four Serie A appearances and has been substituted in each outing, against Inter Milan (83 minutes), Fiorentina (55), Lazio (74), and Bologna (81).

Ademola Lookman set for Atalanta exit as summer transfer looms
This summer is shaping up to be a pivotal moment in Lookman’s career, with the Super Eagles star reportedly set to leave Atalanta at the end of the season.
While his current deal with the Serie A club runs until 2026, sources indicate the Nigerian has communicated his desire to move on. A gentleman’s agreement is understood to be in place between the player and the club, allowing him to depart should the right offer arrive.

Lookman, 27, has been instrumental for Atalanta once again this season, registering 18 goals and seven assists across all competitions. He recently became the first player to post double-digit goal contributions in three consecutive Serie A campaigns.
Although his form has dipped in recent weeks, with no goal involvement since the international break, the reigning CAF Men’s Player of the Year remains one of the most sought-after Nigerian players in Europe.
