AFCON 2025: Probable pots for the qualifying draw

While the date of the draw for the AFCON 2025 qualifiers should be announced in the coming weeks, Afrik-Foot will make your mouth water by revealing the composition of the probable pots.

Following the publication of the latest FIFA rankings last week, the announcement of the date for the draw should take place anytime soon. In the meantime, we can already make a projection on the pots of the draw.

As a reminder, there are four of them, made up of 12 teams each, which will be distributed according to their FIFA ranking.

AFCON 2023 finalists Nigeria and Ivory Coast among the top seeds

As usual, seeded teams will be in pot 1. This includes the Super Eagles, who reached the final of AFCON 2023.

Reigning African champions Ivory Coast will also be in pot 1, as well as semi-finalists South Africa and DR Congo.
