Ahmed Musa delivered a brilliant performance, netting his third league goal of the season as Kano Pillars and Enugu Rangers entertained fans to a 7-goal thriller in their NPFL clash on Thursday.
The Super Eagles captain dominated the game, grabbing a goal and providing an assist that inspired his team to a crucial victory at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Musa played a key role in all four goals, with Rabiu Ali bagging a brace and Zulkifilu Muhammed adding to the tally.

The emphatic win marked a strong comeback for Coach Usman Abdullah's side, who were eager to rebound after a 2-0 defeat to Akwa United in their previous outing.

The visitors threatened early, coming close to an opener just 13 minutes in when Nelson Abiam unleashed a fierce strike, though it sailed off target.
Kano Pillars found their breakthrough shortly after, as Rabiu Ali calmly converted from the penalty spot following a handball inside the box, courtesy of an Ahmed Musa cross.
Zulkifilu Muhammed doubled the lead in the 28th minute, finishing off a well-placed assist from Musa, who outpaced his marker down the wing.
Minutes later, Musa was brought down in the box, earning Pillars another penalty, which Ali confidently buried for his second of the game.
Musa then capped off his stellar first-half performance with a sensational solo effort, dribbling past four defenders to make it 4-0 just before halftime.
However, Rangers mounted a spirited comeback in the second half, with Isaac Saviour scoring twice and Nenrot Silas pulling a late goal back in stoppage time to make it 4-3.
Despite the late scare, Kano Pillars held on for a vital victory, securing their third win of the season.
Musa, now with four goal contributions since his NPFL return, continues to make a massive impact as Pillars climb to 4th place on the table with 10 points from seven matches.
