Taiwo Awoniyi has been at the centre of transfer speculation, with West Ham reportedly interested in the Super Eagles forward.
The Hammers are reportedly eyeing Awoniyi as a potential addition to their squad, with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen sidelined until next season due to injuries, and Niclas Fullkrug also expected to be out for a number of weeks.
Despite the rumours, Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed unwavering confidence in the 27-year-old's ability to return to peak form.

Nuno highlights Awoniyi's key role and potential comeback
Ahead of Sunday’s crucial league fixture with Southampton, Nuno spoke highly of the important role Awoniyi continues to play at the club.
“Taiwo came on late in the game (against Liverpool), having played very well in the previous game against Luton. We hope that he progresses with the fitness level because we know the talent and the quality he has. He is a goalscorer,” the Portuguese said.
“He always has an impact, he always has chances. That is what you can say about Taiwo. There are rumours? He can absolutely get back (to that previous level). Yes, absolutely. Because he shows it every day.

“He works very hard and we cannot forget the importance of Taiwo to Forest and the history of what he has done for the club.
“I was fortunate enough to see many of the games that Taiwo was involved in and his performance level was very high. I am absolutely confident that he will get back to that.”
The Nigeria international has seen his place in Forest's attacking line-up diminish, with the in-form Chris Wood now occupying the starting role. Awoniyi has netted just one Premier League goal this season from sixteen appearances, though he has started only two of those matches.
