Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was in imperious form for his Turkish side, Galatasaray, as he bagged his first goals for the club in a 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa on Saturday evening.

Osimhen has started life in Turkey on a high following his loan move from Napoli, recording four assists in three games, and has now added goals to his overall contributions to the team.

Osimhen then added another with a fantastic finish after a brilliant ball by Ismail Jakobs in the 34th minute.

He was later replaced by Dries Mertens as Galatasaray threw away a three-goal lead to share the spoils.

In total, Osimhen has scored 2 goals and provided four assists for Galatasaray since joining them on loan from the Italian side Napoli.

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo was involved for Kasimpasa in the game, coming on as a first-half substitute to shore up the defence for the away side.

Galatasaray are top of Turkey’s Super Lig with 19 points from seven games.

Victor Osimhen's numbers vs Kasimpasa

The Nigerian striker played 45 minutes and made a major impact, scoring two goals – his first since joining the club.

He also had two shots on target and one blocked shot. Osimhen had 11 touches and completed 2 out of 5 of his passes, though this did not negatively impact his game.

He won just one of his four ground duels, while he won one of his two aerial duels.

Unfortunately, after his departure from the pitch, his team capitulated and threw away their three goal advantage and could only take one point from a game that looked well done and dusted after 30 minutes.
