The club is monitoring his condition, and if he does not train on Tuesday, it is likely he will miss the Champions League encounter.

Boniface has been crucial to Leverkusen’s strong start this season, and fans will hope to see him back in action soon.

If he misses the midweek game, he is expected to return for their Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen on Saturday.

As of now, all eyes are on Tuesday’s training session to see if the Super Eagles star will be fit to feature in the European showdown.
