We've gotten to the business end of the CAF Confederation Cup, and of the 16 participants, there are eight left standing.
In this article, we'll point out which teams made it through to the last eight, and how they matched up against the teams in their respective groups.
Which teams have qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup knockout stages?
USM Alger (Algeria)
Defending champions USM Alger were paired alongside Future, Al Hilal Benghazi and Supersport United in Group A.
The Algerian side kicked off their Confederation Cup campaign with three consecutive wins, and had already booked a place in the knockout stages with two games left to spare.
USM Alger were Group A leaders with 13 points from a possible 18. They also had a perfect record at home.

Future FC (Egypt)
Future had to battle it out for a place in the knockout stages, as they took on Al Hilal Benghazi in their final group game.
The Egyptian side needed a positive result in order to reach the last eight, and they cruised through a comfortable 5-0 victory over their Libyan opponents.
Future were second in Group A behind USM Alger.
Zamalek (Egypt)
Zamalek were perhaps the most dominant team in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages. They had a near-perfect record with four wins and a draw in five matches.
As a matter of fact, the five-time CAF Champions League winners were four points clear at the top of Group B, even though they played fewer games than the two teams below them.
With just one goal conceded in five group matches, Zamalek were the best defensive side in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Abu Salim Tripoli (Libya)
Interestingly, the top two spots in Group B were already decided before the final round of matches.
Abu Salim Tripoli made the trip to Angola in order to face Sagrada Esperança on Sunday.
Considering they had four more points than their Angolan opponents, Abu Salim booked a place in the last eight in spite of their 3-0 loss last weekend.
Due to that humiliating loss, Abu Salim are the only team to qualify for the knockout stages with a negative goal difference.
Dreams FC (Ghana)
Dreams FC had to contend with Club Africain and Rivers United for two spots in Group C. The Ghanaian side held their own against these teams, winning four of their first five games.
Interestingly, even though Dreams suffered a 2-1 loss to Rivers United in their final game, they still finished at the top of Group C.

Rivers United (Nigeria)
A few Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) teams battled for a place in the CAF Confederation Cup and Champions League, and Rivers United turned out to be Nigeria's only representative in either tournament.
Stanley Eguma's troops had a slow start to their campaign, losing two of their first four group games.
However, Rivers United got back on track towards the business end of the competition. They won their last two matches, beating Tunisian giants Club Africain for the number 2 spot.
RS Berkane (Morocco)
Besides Zamalek, RS Berkane were the only team that went through the group stages without losing a game.
They also had the highest number of points amongst all the CAF Confederation Cup teams, although to be fair, Zamalek played a game less.
Berkane saw their defence breached just twice in six group matches, they were Group D leaders with 14 points from a possible 18.

Stade Malien (Mali)
Stade Malien were second in Group D with 10 points from six matches. While they held their own against the other teams in the group, the Malian side struggled against RS Berkane.
In fact, Stade Malien conceded six goals in the group stages, and five of those were against Berkane.
Like Group B, the top two spots in Group D were already decided before the final round of fixtures.
