Reports in Italy suggest that Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has attracted interest from top Serie A club Juventus.

The Nigeria international joined the Italian outfit from Turkish side Hatayaspor on a season-long loan with an option to buy, with the transfer fee expected to reach €7 million, with a potential contract extending until 2028.

However, Lazio's plans to secure a permanent deal for Dele-Bashiru could face complications due to reported interest from Juventus.

The Turin-based club, according to the Italian outlet ‘La Repubblica,' have already made inquiries about the possibility of signing him.

Assessing Dele-Bashiru's impact at Lazio since his arrival

Since joining Lazio on loan, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has made a notable impact across all competitions, making 16 appearances.

In this time, the Super Eagles midfielder has scored four goals and provided two assists, while averaging 59 minutes per game.

The 23-year-old's smooth transition into Italian football has only increased his appeal, with reported interest now emerging from Premier League clubs.

Before joining Lazio, Dele-Bashiru enjoyed a standout 2023/24 season with Hatayspor, where he contributed eight goals and five assists in 36 appearances. His impressive performances played a pivotal role in Hatayspor's 15th-place finish in the league.
