The Belgium-born forward’s contribution highlighted his growing confidence, days after netting a hat-trick against Fraserburgh F.C. in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Tonight’s strike marked a significant milestone for Cyriel Dessers, taking his tally to 150 competitive goals in his 11-year career.

Leon Balogun, making his first start after injury, put up a composed first-half display. The 35-year-old center-back completed nine of 12 passes (75%), made two tackles, one interception, and three clearances, and was not dribbled past.
Unfortunately, an injury saw him substituted at halftime, paving the way for Ross McCausland.
Rangers' defensive frailties post-Balogun were exposed as Jack Butland’s own goal handed United the lead. Bruno Fernandes sealed the win with a stoppage-time strike, ensuring United's place in the last 16.
