Super Falcons' forward Jennifer Echegini was in fine form as she helped Paris Saint-Germain secure a 2-1 win over Strasbourg in the French top flight on Saturday.

The 23-year-old, who has been impressive this season, provided an assist for PSG’s first goal in the victory.

The Paris side dominated the first half but struggled to find the breakthrough until a minute before half-time when Echegini set up Romee Leuchter to open the scoring.

A Lauren Hannequin own goal in the 60th minute gave the visitors a two-goal cushion, putting them in control of the match.

Strasbourg fought back but could not reduce the deficit until stoppage time in the second half when Liana Joseph pulled one back.

However, it was too little, too late, as PSG held on for the win.

The goal against Strasbourg was her third of the season, and she also has two assists in the league.
