The Super Eagles will discover their group stage opponents for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) when the draws are conducted on Monday, January 27.
This highly anticipated event marks the beginning of another quest for African football supremacy for the Super Eagles as they look to add to their three African titles.

Having reached the final in the last edition hosted by the Ivory Coast, Nigeria fell narrowly short, losing 2-1 to the hosts.
With that disappointment still fresh, the team, led by Head Coach Eric Chelle, aims to make amends and secure their fourth AFCON title.
A total of 24 teams will compete in this year’s tournament, including defending champions Ivory Coast, record champions Egypt, hosts Morocco, and other heavyweights like Senegal and Cameroon.
The stage is set for an exciting competition that celebrates the best of African football, as Morocco get set to host Africa for the first time since 1988.
There are other smaller countries like the Comoros, Botswana, Uganda and Tanzania who will look to upset the odds.
