French Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly setting their sights on 20-year-old forward Samu Omorodion, who has quickly risen to prominence since joining FC Porto. The Spanish forward, also eligible to represent Nigeria, had been on the brink of a move to Chelsea over the summer, but the deal collapsed before completion.
Chelsea had reached a £34 million agreement with Atletico Madrid, with Omorodion expected to be part of a swap deal involving Conor Gallagher.
However, concerns over an ankle injury halted the transfer just before finalization, prompting the Blues to pivot toward signing Joao Felix instead.
Omorodion’s impact entices Luis Enrique

Following the breakdown of his Chelsea move, Omorodion made the switch to Porto from Atletico Madrid and has quickly made a name for himself in Portuguese football. The young striker has been in stellar form, netting seven goals in seven games across all competitions, including a standout performance in the Europa League.
His rapid rise at Porto has caught the attention of several top European clubs, including PSG.
Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes suggest that PSG are prepared to offer a staggering €100 million for Omorodion as they look to strengthen their attack.
The Ligue 1 giants have been disappointed by the underwhelming performances of recent signings Randal Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos, who have yet to justify their significant transfer fees. PSG’s interest in Omorodion comes despite the club’s financial concerns, which previously led them to pull out of negotiations for another Nigerian star, Victor Osimhen.
