KRC Genk's Head of Football, Dimitri de Condé, has expressed high praise for Tolu Arokodare, highlighting the Nigerian forward's unconventional playing style and remarkable skill.
The towering forward has been in superb form for Genk this season and is one of the key reasons why the team is at the top of the Jupiler Pro League.
Arokodare was once again on target for Genk in their derby victory over Gent last weekend, marking his eighth goal of the season.

In the aftermath of their victory, De Condé emphasised the striker's remarkable goal-scoring ability and his impressive top speed of 36 km/h over longer distances.

Speaking to the press as reported by Voetbal Primeur, De Condé praised Arokodare's contributions to the team.
“Tolu is a more atypical footballer, but someone who gives us a lot.
“He has already scored some goals for which you need more than the average technical ability. He also reaches a top speed of 36 km/h over a longer distance,” he said.

Arokodare has made 12 appearances in the current campaign, netting eight goals and providing one assist, while averaging 82 minutes on the pitch per game.
The 23-year-old joined Genk in a €5 million transfer from Amiens SC in January 2023 and has made an immediate impact.
