Super Eagles forward Isaac Success has taken his talents to the Middle East, leaving behind Europe's top leagues.
His destination? UAE Pro League powerhouse Al Wasl. The Nigerian forward's transfer comes on the heels of an unexpected decision by his former club, Udinese, to terminate his contract.
Al Wasl, the reigning champions of the UAE Pro League, officially confirmed Success’ arrival in a lucrative deal.

Although details of his contract were kept under wraps, it seems the future of the 28-year-old who once dazzled on Europe’s biggest stages is still intact.
Isaac Success to begin new chapter in UAE
Success, who was a key figure in Nigeria’s 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup victory, has been without a club since his release from Udinese.
His contract with the Italian side was mutually ended in August, cutting short a three-year stint where he managed four goals in 79 appearances.
Despite his modest goal tally, Success’ physical presence and work rate make him a valuable asset to any team.
Having not played since May 2024, where he saw only seven minutes of action in Udinese’s draw with Empoli, Success will be eager to shake off the rust and reignite his career.
His experience in Spain with Granada and Malaga, and later in England with Watford, will no doubt serve him well in his new adventure.
Al Wasl, the current UAE champions, are expected to compete not only in the Pro League but also in the Presidents Cup and AFC Champions League this season.
For Isaac Success, this marks a new opportunity to get back to it, re-establish himself, and find his striking boot once more.
