Former Torino forward Osarimen Ebagua has urged Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman to consider leaving Atlanta next summer in pursuit of greater challenges.
Ebagua believes the reigning CAF Player of the Year, who has shown incredible potential, is capable of playing for top-tier clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, or Barcelona.
Lookman’s rise to prominence was solidified with his remarkable hat-trick in the Europa Cup final against Bayer Leverkusen last season, catching the eye of top European clubs.

In an interview shared by Europa Calcio, Ebagua said, “Even though (Atalanta) are reaching the top, Lookman can aspire to the very best—Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona, or wherever he wants. He himself will be able to improve further.”
Why Lookman could Leave Atalanta this summer
Atalanta currently sit third in Serie A with 43 points, trailing first-placed Napoli by seven points.
While their pursuit of the Scudetto is still alive, the competition remains fierce, and if they fall short in the latter stages of the season, it may signal a pivotal moment in Lookman’s career.

While his contract at Atalanta runs until June 2026, this summer could present the perfect opportunity for him to take the next step in his footballing journey—especially if Atalanta fails to secure their first-ever Serie A title.
The 27-year-old has emerged as one of Europe’s most coveted talents, with prestigious clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) closely monitoring his impressive development.
In the current campaign, Lookman has been in excellent form, making 24 appearances for La Dea across all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists.
If Atalanta falls short of the Scudetto this season, Lookman might consider that his ceiling at the club has been reached.
