Nigeria international Maduka Okoye has been voted Udinese's Player of the Month for February.
The goalkeeper has been in good form for his club as he helped his side collect one win, two draws and suffering just one loss in the four games they were involved in.
The Udine side posted a picture of Okoye with his Player of the Month plaque on their official X handle.
The award was presented to the Nigerian shot-stopper before Udinese’s Serie A home game against Torino.
In the four League games Udinese played in February, Okoye kept two clean sheets, first was in a goalless draw at home to Monza and the next one was a bit memorable for the Nigerian who registered a series of saves – six in total – in his team's 1-0 away win at Turin giants, Juventus.
Maduka Okoye hoping for a good ending to the season
With nine rounds of games remaining in Serie A, Udinese are currently three points off the drop zone in 14th position and a 2-0 home loss to Torino on Saturday dented their hopes of survival.
Maduka Okoye featured for all 90 minutes in the loss and was beaten in goal with strikes from Duvan Zapata in the 10th minute and Nikola Vlasic in the 53rd minute of the encounter played at the Stadio Friuli.
It wasn't a convincing performance overall for the home team as the game saw them fire less than two shots on target in a home match in Serie A for the first time since September 2021 against Napoli.
Udinese have now secured 27 points from the 29 matches played so far and have registered just 4 wins, 15 draws and 10 losses.
The Nigerian who has made 12 appearances in Serie A for his club this season will be hopeful of a good run in the month of April when their Serie A campaign resumes away to fellow strugglers, Sassuolo.
Elsewhere in the Serie A, leaders Inter Milan have collected 75 points from 28 matches played in which they have won 24, drawn three and suffered just one defeat.
City rivals AC Milan are second with 59 points from 28 games played while Juventus are in third position with 58 points from the same number of games played as well.

Okoye finding his path to the Super Eagles
The former Sparta Rotterdam stopper seems to have found his form since he moved to the Serie A last summer from English side Watford.
He struggled in England, making just one appearance for the Cottagers and has also not featured for the national team since he was part of the Super Eagles side that got knocked out in the second round of the 2021 AFCON that was held in Cameroon and was a victim of cyberbullying.
Having missed out of the upcoming international friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month and with his new form that has made him a key member of the current Udinese team, Okoye might just be in line for a return to the Super Eagles when the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers resumes with a double header against Bafana Bafana of South Africa later in the summer.
