Super Falcons' Jennifer Echegini has been named in the Serie A Femminile team of the week. Echegini scored her 10th goal of the season for Juventus in their 3-2 victory over Sassuolo last weekend.

In addition to scoring, she also provided an assist in the game and also completed six dribbles in this round of Serie A, at least twice as many as any other player on the pitch.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who joined the club earlier this year, has been in excellent form, scoring 10 goals in just 14 matches for the Serie A giants.

Echegini's impressive tally includes a hat-trick she scored in a comprehensive win against Fiorentina back in March.

Echegini's Juventus are placed second in the league with 43 points from 18 games, trailing league leaders Roma by 8 points.

Can the Super Falcons rely on Jennifer Echegini in Paris?

As the Super Falcons gear up for the 2024 Paris Olympics, the team will be looking to key players like Jennifer Echegini to make a significant impact on the international stage.

Echegini, who has been in exceptional form for Juventus, has scored 10 goals and registered one assist in 14 games, starting in eight of those matches.

Her impressive performance at the club level raises the question: Can the Super Falcons rely on Jennifer Echegini in Paris?

Her ability to find the back of the net will be crucial as the Super Falcons tackle a challenging group stage.

Placed in Group C, Nigeria will face stiff competition from the reigning world champions, Spain, who are making their Olympic debut. Also, two-time Olympic silver medalists Brazil and London 2012 silver medalists Japan add to the formidable lineup of opponents.

The Super Falcons have a history of rising to the occasion, and with Echegini's current form, there is a strong sense of optimism.

With her current trajectory, there is every reason to believe that Jennifer Echegini will be a key player for Randy Waldrum's side in Paris, helping them to compete against some of the best teams in the world and strive for Olympic glory.
