Luton Town manager Rob Edwards has commended Victor Moses for his significant and positive impact since joining the club.
The former Nigeria international joined Luton Town last month on a free transfer, following his departure from Russian club Spartak Moscow earlier this summer, where he spent nearly four years after initially joining on loan from Chelsea in 2020.
The 33-year-old has swiftly acclimated to his new environment, notably scoring a goal during Luton Town's 1-3 defeat to Plymouth Argyle last month—his first in English football since netting for Chelsea against Burnley in April 2018.

Edwards expressed optimism about Moses' ongoing development and contribution as the team progresses through the early stages of the season.
Edwards reflects on Moses' adaptability and impact
In quotes relayed by Luton Today, Edwards reflected on Moses' impressive adaptation to the squad and highlighted the contributions of the former Chelsea and Liverpool winger on the pitch.
“I think Vic’s in a place where he can play for longer, no doubt about it. We’re in the position now where he’s still in his preseason really, so everyone’s got to bear that in mind as well. But he’s made two good impacts in two games, so I think we can begin to build his minutes up,” he said.

When asked if Moses can replicate the significant influence that Ross Barkley had during Luton Town's Premier League campaign last season, Edwards acknowledged Barkley's role as a key figure in the squad, which ultimately struggled to avoid relegation from the top flight.
“They’re different people and completely different players, but we hope Victor can have a really big impact for us, and he’s already done that on his debut,” he added.
Moses has made three appearances for the Hatters in the Championship to date, averaging 47 minutes of play per game.
