Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was in fine form for Nantes in their 2-1 win over Dunkerque in a pre-season friendly.
The 29-year-old, who captained his club in the game, scored Nantes' first goal in the second minute, giving his side an early lead.

Simon was brilliant down the flanks, providing several quality crosses for his teammates, though they failed to convert the chances he created.
Dunkerque equalized in the second half through Gaetan Courtet’s penalty in the 61st minute, as they pressed for an upset.
However, Nantes emerged victorious when Fabian Centonze scored in the second minute of added time, securing the win for the “yellow and green.”
Moses Simon goal a huge confidence boost
Simon’s goal will gladden his heart and that of the Nantes staff, as it is his first goal for the club since returning from a horrific injury last month.
Simon was injured on international duty with Nigeria in March. During the game against the Eagles of Mali, the former Levante winger went down clutching his knee following a nasty clash with Mali goalkeeper Mamadou Samassa.
The injury effectively ended his season, and he only resumed full training last month. He last scored for the club in November 2023 in a Ligue 1 game against FC Metz.
