Olawoyin played a key role, delivering an assist for Ali Sowe’s opener in the 6th minute.

The Gambian forward doubled the advantage just seven minutes later, putting the visitors in control.

However, Olawoyin’s day took a turn for the worse when he received a yellow card in the 22nd minute.

That caution would prove costly, as he picked up a second booking just before halftime, reducing Rizespor to ten men and conceding a penalty in the process.

Edin Džeko stepped up to convert from the spot, cutting Rizespor’s lead to 2-1 at the break.

The second half saw further drama when Rizespor went down to nine men after Rachid Ghezzal was sent off in the 77th minute.

With the numerical advantage, Fenerbahçe piled on the pressure. Džeko grabbed his second of the night to equalize, before Youssef En-Nesyri netted the winner in the 89th minute, sealing a heartbreaking defeat for Rizespor.
