Bright Osayi-Samuel, the Super Eagles defender and key figure in Fenerbahçe’s lineup, has firmly dismissed rumours connecting him with a move to join Victor Osimhen at Galatasaray.
Despite ongoing discussions about a potential contract extension at Fenerbahçe, where his current deal is set to expire in 2025, whispers of a switch to Galatasaray have stirred excitement among Cimbom fans.
Having joined Fenerbahçe three years ago, Osayi-Samuel has made his mark, contributing to the club’s Turkish Cup success last season.
Yet recent speculation has intensified after his agent, Steven Beck, reportedly informed Fenerbahçe’s sporting director, Mario Branco, of a lucrative €2.5 million offer from the Aslanlar.
This revelation, allegedly aimed at securing a similar raise for Osayi-Samuel at Fenerbahçe, has fuelled tension among loyal fans of The Yellow Canaries.

And in response to that, Osayi-Samuel took to a Twitch broadcast via Fanatik to address the speculation head-on, openly denying any intentions to join the Super Lig leaders or any other Turkish club.
Osayi-Samuel took a moment to set the record straight, expressing his disbelief with the speculations making round.
He admitted he was baffled by the figures circulating, firmly claiming that he made no such requests.
The determined fullback also emphasised his loyalty, declaring that he would never turn his back on Fenerbahçe or don the colours of any other Turkish club.
“I don't know where they come up with these figures. I have never asked for anything. I will never betray Fenerbahçe; I will never play for another team in Turkey,” he said.
The Nigerian has already proven to be a vital figure for Fenerbahçe this season under José Mourinho after making eight appearances and recording one assist.
However, Osayi-Samuel has attracted interest from Premier League clubs as well as French Ligue 1 sides. But as it stands, he has re-established his loyalty to Fenerbahçe and will be looking to remain firm.
