Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has made headlines once again, but this time for events off the pitch.
The forward, who recently scored in Galatasaray’s thrilling 3-3 Europa League draw against Dynamo Kyiv, was reportedly involved in a heated altercation with journalists in Turkey.
According to local reports, the former African Footballer of the Year, currently on loan from Napoli, was angered when photographers captured him leaving a nightclub during a night of national mourning.

The tragic event, which saw 79 people lose their lives in Kartalkaya, had cast a somber mood across the nation.
Osimhen and his friends had been partying at Tofes 99 Sports Bar in Maslak 1453 when they encountered journalists outside the venue.
The report claims that Osimhen became enraged upon noticing the cameras and physically confronted two journalists, cameraman Ömer Can and reporter İsmail Zen, as well as other journalists from Turkish outlets Posta and Sabah.
The situation escalated as Osimhen allegedly punched cameras and demanded the deletion of footage.
Speaking in English, he reportedly threatened the journalists, saying, “If I see this footage anywhere, I will destroy you.”
No statement from Galatasaray and Osimhen yet
According to the reports, when intimidation failed, Osimhen is said to have offered bribes to ensure the incident remained unpublished.

This is not the first time the former Lille star has found himself in hot water.
Last year, he publicly clashed with former Nigeria coach Austin Eguavoen on social media, accusing him of making false allegations.
The dispute caused a stir among Nigerian football fans online.
While Osimhen’s talent on the pitch remains unquestionable, incidents like these continue to cast a shadow over his career.
Galatasaray and the forward have not made any statements yet related to the event
