Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen stole the spotlight on Friday night, delivering a stunning performance as Galatasaray thrashed Antalyaspor 4-0 in the Turkish Süper Lig at Rams Park.
The Nigerian striker was simply unstoppable, netting his first hat-trick in Turkish football to fire Gala further ahead in the title race.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 30th minute, showcasing his trademark pace and clinical finishing.
He doubled his tally just before half-time in the 45th minute, and completed his treble in the 52nd minute with another composed strike.
Spanish forward Alvaro Morata also got on the scoresheet from the spot to seal an emphatic victory for Okan Buruk’s men.
The 26-year-old’s masterclass had fans and pundits buzzing on social media. X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with praise, with many declaring Osimhen the most complete striker in Turkish football.
Others pointed out that the former Napoli man is now the league’s top scorer, underlining his immense impact since arriving in Turkey.
While many celebrated his brilliance, some Nigerian fans expressed concerns over his workload, hoping he would be substituted early to avoid injury.
With the Super Eagles set to face Rwanda and Zimbabwe in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next week, there is anxiety over his fitness, especially as he has yet to feature in the campaign due to previous injuries.
Others were excited with Osimhen's performance ahead of the game against Rwanda in Kigali next week.
One viral post even depicted Osimhen in an old Turkish military uniform, symbolizing him as the “King and Commander” of Galatasaray’s attack.
There was also applause for Osimhen who showed greats sportsmanship by handing the ball to his strike partner, Alvaro Morata.

After scoring the opening goal, Osimhen had the chance to get a brace when Galatasaray were awarded a spot kick.
The Spanish striker has not scored much and Osimhen, who is the designated penalty taker for Galatasaray, gave the ball to Morata so he can get on the scoresheet too.
