Serie A outfit Bologna are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze.
The 25-year-old has struggled for consistent game time since joining AC Milan from Spanish side Villarreal in the summer of 2023. Despite working under three different managers during his time at the San Siro, he has yet to establish himself as a regular fixture in the Rossoneri's starting lineup.
Bologna manager Vincenzo Italiano is reportedly a long-standing admirer of the former Villareal man and had previously attempted to secure his signature during the January transfer window.

According to reports, the Italian trainer remains enthusiastic about working with Chukwueze, viewing him as a player brimming with untapped potential. Italiano is said to be eager to play a significant role in reigniting his career and helping him return to his best form.
Orsolini to figure in swap loan for Samuel Chukwueze
The potential departure of Riccardo Orsolini could open the door for Samuel Chukwueze to join Bologna on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.
The Nigeria international has emerged as a top target for Rossoblu, who are reportedly preparing to reignite interest in him should Orsolini make a summer switch, with AC Milan said to be monitoring the Italian forward.
Bologna had previously proposed a player-plus-cash swap involving Orsolini and Chukwueze during the January transfer window, but the deal failed to materialise.

However, with the summer window fast approaching, talks could be revived, this time with a structured loan arrangement potentially serving as a more viable pathway.
Chukwueze has made 33 appearances for AC Milan across all competitions this season, starting 11 of those matches. He has scored five goals, provided one assist, and averaged 38 minutes per game.
