Just four days after scoring the decisive goal that broke FC Porto’s Europa League curse, Samuel Omorodion has delivered yet another breathtaking performance, netting a hat-trick in Liga Portugal.
Omorodion’s three-goal feat set the pace as Porto charged to a dominant 5-0 victory over AVS Futebol on Monday night.
FC Porto quickly took control of the game, breaking through the AVS defence within the first 22 minutes.

Nico netted the opener with a well-placed header, thanks to an accurate cross from Fabio Vieira.
Omorodion’s hat-trick fires Porto’s winning streak
Building on that momentum, Omorodion scored his first goal just ten minutes later, sending a powerful shot into the bottom corner.
By the 38th minute, Omorodion was unstoppable. Latching onto another well-timed cross from Martim Fernandes, he drove a close-range header into the net, marking his second of the night.

As the clock ticked toward halftime, Omorodion skilfully rounded the goalkeeper one-on-one, securing his hat-trick and leaving Porto comfortably ahead at 4-0.
The second half saw Porto seal off their lead. With just two minutes left, Joao Mario set up Rodrigo Mora, whose deflected shot slipped past the AVS keeper, sealing the match at an emphatic 5-0.
Omorodion’s hat-trick takes his tally to 11 goals for the season, keeping his incredible scoring run alive at six goals in his last six games.
The young forward, who played the full 90 minutes, made over 16 accurate passes and registered five shots on goal, with three hitting the target.
Out of his 32 touches, eight were inside the opposition box. He completed one successful dribble and delivered two key passes in the final third, ultimately earning him the Man of the Match award at the final whistle.
This victory extends Porto's undefeated streak to five games, including four consecutive wins, showing the team’s robust form across competitions.
They will now look ahead to a League Cup showdown against Moreirense, Omorodion, and his teammates, hoping to keep this remarkable momentum going.
