Stake.com Review: Rated 9/10 By a Nigerian Betting Expert

I rate Stake.com a solid 9/10 because of its smooth user experience on both mobile and desktop, as well as its focus on cryptocurrency, which enables easy deposits and fast withdrawals, and its extensive betting markets for both sports and casino games.

When I first visited Stake Nigeria, I was stunned by a popup notification about a new crash game named “Pump”, which allows new users to win up to 3,203,384.80x your bet. This means with a potential stake of $10, you can win up to $32,033,848.

After closing the popup, the next thing I noticed was the site’s dark and stylish color scheme and its clean and uncluttered layout. However, I noticed that unlike other bookmakers in Nigeria where you’ll be automatically shown the Sports section after visiting the site, Stake.com is quite different. 

It is filled with different sections like a registration tab, promo, top bets, sponsorship partners, etc. Before you can access the sportsbook, you need to select “Sports” at the bottom of the screen. Apart from “Sports”, you’ll also find a “Chat” button at the bottom of the screen.

I rate the UX of this site a solid 8/10. I knocked off a little because there is no dedicated app for Stake.com in Nigeria yet, which would’ve provided a better user experience and faster access for players.

For the UX rating, I’d give Stake.com a solid 8.5/10. I knocked off a little because I still wish they had a dedicated app for even faster access. But overall, it’s a top-notch mobile experience.

I also appreciate Stake.com’s competitive odds. Compared to other major bookmakers like Bet9ja and Wazobet, Stake offers slightly better odds. However, it doesn’t offer special boosted odds on top events compared to top BetKing and 1xBet, which offer promotional odds for top events like the El Classico or a cup final. 

For example, in the last Spanish Super Cup Final between Barcelona and Real Madrid, both BetKing and 1xBet offered boosted odds on different events in the game. However, Stake.com didn’t offer any special odds for the event. My Stake sports betting rating is 8/10.

However, don’t let that stop you from betting on the go. The mobile site for Stake is optimized so well that it almost feels like using an actual app. You can even add the site as a widget on your phone’s homescreen for quicker access.
