Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has garnered attention from several clubs in Asia and South Africa in recent months due to his standout performances for Chippa United.
His reputation further surged after his exceptional performance at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2024).
By supplanting the usual first-choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, and claiming the starting position for the Super Eagles, the Chippa United goalkeeper made a name for himself in Ivory Coast.
He played in every match as the Super Eagles progressed to the AFCON final, suffering their only loss against the hosts.

Although the Super Eagles did not win the coveted trophy, Stanley Nwabali was recognised as one of the team's key players.
Nwabali's agent, Mohammed Lawal, has revealed the key factor that could determine Nwabali's next club.

Lawal emphasised the importance of regular playing time to maintain his standing within the Super Eagles. Lawal, speaking to the media, highlighted the 27-year-old's pivotal role in the national team, as demonstrated during the recent AFCON tournament.
“Stanley Nwabali has to be playing regularly for his new club so as not to affect his place in the Super Eagles,” Lawal stated.
“He showed at the AFCON he has a place in the national team and he wishes to stay there for as long as possible.”
Stanley Nwabali transfer interest from across the globe
Rumours are circulating that Nwabali is poised for a potential move to Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, potentially filling the void left by Maxime Wensenns, who is reportedly eyeing a transfer to Turkey in the upcoming summer window.
Additionally, undisclosed clubs from France and Italy have reportedly expressed interest in the Super Eagles goalkeeper, alongside South African powerhouse Kaizer Chiefs.
Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia is also reportedly eager to secure his services.
During the AFCON, he made a significant impact by recording four clean sheets for Nigeria and notably saving two penalties during the semi-final clash against South Africa.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently disclosed that Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al-Ettifaq and Championship club Queens Park Rangers are also pursuing the goalkeeper.
