Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has been crowned the Spanish Liga F Player of the Month for September, capping off an outstanding period for the Nigerian forward.
Ajibade, who also won Atlético Madrid Femenino's Player of the Month award, saw off stiff competition from top players including Caroline Weir (Real Madrid), Ewa Pajor (FC Barcelona), Elba Vergés (SD Eibar), Karen Araya (Madrid CFF), Nerea Nevado (Athletic Club), and María Llompart (Levante Badalona).
This honour marks the first time the award has been presented, as it was recently introduced to recognize exceptional performances each month.
Ajibade's consistent brilliance secured her the inaugural accolade, adding to her growing list of individual honors in Spain.
