Super Falcons defender Tosin Demehin has officially parted ways with her French club, Stade de Reims, after spending two seasons with the team.
Demehin, who joined the club in October 2022 from Nigerian club Rivers Angels, made the move shortly after representing Nigeria at the 2022 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.
Most recently, Demehin was a member of the Nigeria senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

She also featured at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where the Super Falcons made an impressive run to the Round of 16, narrowly missing out on a quarterfinal spot after losing to England in a dramatic penalty shootout..
Super Falcons defender Demehin pens farewell
The talented defender took to her X account (formerly known as Twitter) to express her gratitude to Stade de Reims and its supporters for the opportunity to be part of the team.
“After an amazing few years and seasons at Reims, I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to share and be part of those moments with you,” she wrote.
“I want to thank the President, coaches, club staff, medical teams, and especially my teammates, who have become like family, for the belief and hard work that resulted in an unforgettable championship.”
However, Demehin did not reveal her next destination in her farewell message.
During her stint at Stade Reims, Demehin made 27 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist, leaving a lasting impression on the club’s backline.
Notably, Demehin’s departure follows that of fellow Nigeria international Rofiat Imuran, who also left the club recently.
