Former Super Eagles forward Obafemi Martins has backed Victor Osimhen to succeed at the highest level in European football, praising the striker’s exceptional qualities and well-rounded skill set.
Osimhen, currently on a season-long loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in stellar form, contributing goals and assists as Cimbom strengthens its grip at the top of the Süper Lig table.
His standout performances have naturally caught the attention of Europe’s elite clubs, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Juventus all eager to secure his signature this summer.
Martins, highlighting the striker's exceptional qualities, firmly believes Osimhen possesses everything needed to succeed at the highest level of European football.

Speaking in a recent interview with Africafoot, Martins praised Osimhen's exceptional qualities and insisted that he is well-equipped to thrive among Europe’s elite.
“Victor is having an incredible season. He's a world-class striker. He possesses all the characteristics of a great striker. He's tall and powerful. He varies his runs: cross-play, counter-play, and he demands space. He's also skilled in front of goal. He can score from any position,” Martins said.
“Given his season, he shouldn't have any trouble establishing himself at a top club in Europe. That's what I hope for him. I know several big clubs are currently working to attract him, and that can only be beneficial for him.”
The 26-year-old has been in sensational form for Galatasaray, netting 26 goals and providing five assists in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
Osimhen's loan spell with the Turkish champions is set to end at the end of the season, with his contract with Napoli including a €75 million (£63.2 million) buyout clause.
