Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich have reportedly set their sights on Victor Boniface's Bayer Leverkusen teammate and direct competitor, Patrik Schick.
The Bavarians are actively searching for a new striker and have identified the Czech forward—who has been in impressive form for Die Werkself—as a potential successor to Harry Kane.
The 29-year-old has been in outstanding form, netting 15 goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances and amassing an impressive tally of 21 goals across 31 matches in all competitions this season.

Bayern's reported interest in Schick could have major implications for Boniface, potentially reshaping the Super Eagles forward's future at Bayer Leverkusen.
What would a potential Schick exit mean for Victor Boniface?
With Schick and Boniface both vying for the central attacking role under Xabi Alonso, the Czech forward’s potential departure would clear a path for Boniface to establish himself as Leverkusen’s undisputed first-choice striker.
Despite battling injury setbacks, the Super Eagles star has played a pivotal role in Bayer Leverkusen’s historic season, delivering 31 goal contributions in 34 appearances as Die Werkself secured both the DFB-Pokal and their maiden Bundesliga title.
For Leverkusen, Schick’s exit could reshape their tactical setup, putting more emphasis on Boniface’s strengths. The Nigerian has already shown his ability to lead the line effectively, and without the competition for minutes, he could flourish even further.

So far this season, Boniface has found the net seven times and registered one assist in 13 appearances across all competitions.
The 24-year-old came close to joining PIF-owned Al Nassr in January, having already undergone and passed his medicals. However, the Saudi Pro League side ultimately opted to sign Aston Villa’s Colombian forward, Jhon Durán, instead.
In recent weeks, he has been linked with moves to Premier League rivals Chelsea and Newcastle United and West Ham, further fuelling speculation about his future.
