Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly set to break the bank in their pursuit of forward Victor Osimhen, with reports from Turkey suggesting the club is prepared to offer the Napoli striker a staggering 130% wage increase as part of a blockbuster move.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan in September 2024 and has quickly cemented his status as a fan favourite at the Istanbul club, thanks to a string of outstanding performances.

The Nigeria international has netted 28 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions, including an impressive 20 goals in just 22 Sรผper Lig matches, while also contributing five assists.

These impressive statistics have attracted interest from several of Europeโ€™s top clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Despite the growing competition, Galatasaray remain keen to secure Osimhenโ€™s services on a permanent basis.

Galatasaray's monumental financial package to secure Osimhen

Galatasaray are reportedly ready to trigger the โ‚ฌ75 million release clause in Victor Osimhenโ€™s contract with Napoli, underlining their serious intent to make the Nigerian strikerโ€™s stay in Istanbul permanent.

The club plans to pay the fee in four instalments and is prepared to offer Osimhen a four-year contract worth between โ‚ฌ12 million and โ‚ฌ15 million annually โ€” more than double his current โ‚ฌ6.5 million salary โ€” with the total package potentially rising to โ‚ฌ135 million.

To fund this ambitious move, the club will leverage sponsorship deals and anticipated Champions League revenue. If finalised, it would mark one of the most significant financial investments in Galatasarayโ€™s history.

Osimhen, who remains under contract with Napoli until June 2027, will see his release clause reduced from โ‚ฌ130 million to โ‚ฌ75 million (ยฃ63m, $81m) this summer, potentially making him a more accessible target for interested clubs.
