Thousands of Galatasaray fans gathered at Istanbul’s airport on Tuesday morning to welcome Osimhen, as he arrived to finalise his transfer to the 24-time Turkish Super Lig champions. The Nigerian striker, known for his goal-scoring prowess, is eager to make an immediate impact on the pitch.
In a passionate statement, the striker revealed his excitement about the club's electric atmosphere and his determination to thrill the fans, declaring his intention to ‘drive them crazy with goals.'

Speaking to GSTV, with quotes relayed by Fanatik, Victor Osimhen shared his initial thoughts and enthusiasm with the Galatasaray faithful.
“I am very happy to be here,” he said. “There is an incredible atmosphere. I want to get on the field as soon as possible.
“I played with Dries. He helped me a lot. I also spoke to him before coming here. I can't wait to be on the field with him.
“I was very excited to see the fans coming here at this time of night. I want to drive them crazy with the goals I will score and have them shout my name.”
Although Osimhen's loan deal with the Turkish club is for a season, it includes a break clause allowing him to leave in January if any of his preferred European clubs express interest and are willing to meet his buyout clause of €75 million (£63.2 million).
