Victor Osimhen is once again linked with a move to Manchester United, unsurprising in light of the Red Devils' struggles in front of goal.
After 30 Premier League games, they have failed to score in 11 matches, and their current trajectory could see them record their worst-ever league finish, even worse than last season when they placed eighth.
With United’s attacking options failing to deliver, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Nigeria striker is on the club’s shortlist but added, “…zero concrete now in terms of contacts or talks. It’s still early for Manchester United to know how much they can spend on the striker, and Osimhen would also be quite expensive in terms of salary.”

The club's two senior center-forwards, Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund, have managed just six Premier League goals between them.
Fallen Man United are now beneath Victor Osimhen
Osimhen has been in electrifying form this season. After being frozen out by Napoli last summer, he secured a move to Galatasaray on loan and has thrived under Okan Buruk, scoring 28 goals and providing five assists in 32 appearances.
His performances have attracted interest from elite clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Juventus, with Saudi Pro League teams also monitoring his situation.
The 20-time league champions' failure to budget or make any definitive moves for Osimhen despite their attacking woes highlights the dysfunction in their recruitment strategy. The club has resorted to using Harry Maguire as a makeshift striker late in games, a move that exemplifies their lack of planning.

His form has not gone unnoticed, with former Manchester United manager José Mourinho labeling him a “world-class” striker.
With the club's ongoing struggles and lack of direction, it is becoming increasingly clear that Osimhen should set his sights on a club that matches his ambition rather than one still figuring out its own future.

Galatasaray are reportedly keen to sign him permanently, a move that would give him stability and Champions League football, something United cannot guarantee. If the 25-year-old is to leave Turkey; it should be for a club that has its act together, not one stuck in an endless cycle of uncertainty.
At this point, it’s not Osimhen who needs Manchester United, it’s Manchester United that desperately needs him. And they’re proving, yet again, that they are simply not worthy.
