Victor Osimhen scored yet again for Galatasaray on Tuesday night, netting his 30th goal of the season in 35 appearances across all competitions.

The Super Eagles striker towered above his marker to head home Dries Mertens’ cross in the 25th minute, giving the Turkish giants a first-half lead.

Osimhen's consistent form in front of goal has only intensified interest from top European clubs, with fans from England, France, and Italy lighting up social media to plead their case for a summer move.

The 26-year-old, on loan from Napoli, is widely expected to leave permanently at the end of the season, with Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly leading the chase.

Victor Osimhen strikes again, and the timeline reacts

Moments after his goal, X (formerly Twitter) was flooded with posts from supporters urging their clubs to “go all out” for the former Lille youngster this summer. The header, in particular, drew comparisons with some of the best strikers in the world, with fans quick to argue that his form in Turkey proves his Serie A exploits were no fluke.

One tweet that resurfaced in the wake of Osimhen’s goal was a post from earlier this month where fans were asked to choose between Osimhen and Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap.

The comparison, at the time divisive, was swiftly ridiculed after the Nigerian's latest performance, with many Chelsea supporters questioning why the debate even happened in the first place.

With each passing game, the lanky striker's value and fan-driven hype continues to rise. And this summer, a bidding war may just be inevitable.
