AmaZulu co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi believes fellow tactician Arthur Zwane can help them beat Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League.
Zwane coached Amakhosi in the 2022/23 season; he had also served as the assistant coach to Vladimir Vermezovic, Gavin Hunt, Stuart Baxter, and Molefi Ntseki. Mangethe was appointed to co-coach Usuthu alongside Vilakazi after Franco Martin's firing earlier in the season.
In the initial meeting, the Glamour Boys beat AmaZulu 3-1 and will be hoping to complete a double when they meet again on Tuesday night at the FNB Stadium. Vilakazi has now explained how Zwane can help them beat the Soweto giants.
AmaZulu must capitalise on Chiefs' woes

“It's an honest fact he [Zwane] knows Kaizer Chiefs in and out. Yes, they've got a new coach [in Nasreddine Nabi] right now but he knows their weaknesses and strong points, so we are going to rely on him and back him here and there,” Vilakazi said ahead of the game.
Last weekend, Chiefs fell to Orlando Pirates by a solitary goal in the Soweto Derby, Vilakazi insists they can take advantage, “We need to take advantage of the fact that they suffered a defeat in the derby, especially because we are coming with confidence after a very tough win against SuperSport. We believe that on the day when we come out of our closet, we will do wonders.
“I really think that coming from a win while Chiefs are coming from a defeat will give us that psychological advantage. We must capitalise on that while they're still trying to fix their things,” he concluded.
