A Portuguese coach who has previously faced Inacio Miguel has revealed what Amakhosi faithful should expect from the defender.
The Angolan centre-back was said to have penned a deal with the Soweto giants last week after the two clubs finalised the transfer fee.
Chiefs signed Inacio from Angolan giants Petro de Luanda, who also sold Gilberto to Orlando Pirates this transfer window.
Luis Goncalves, who coaches Angolan outfit Interclub says Amakhosi have secured themselves a quality in Inacio. His team has previously faced Petro several times with Inacio’s presence strongly felt.
PORTUGUESE REVEALS WHAT AMAKHOSI FAITHFUL SHOULD EXPECT FROM INACIO
“Chiefs have found themselves proper quality in Inacio and I say this because he played against me,” Goncalves told KickOff.
“Inacio reads the game very well and takes a lot of command in being in possession of the ball.
“In his position, he is very good in the construction of play, which is important in the modern game because coaches want players who take command of the ball and know how to move it.
“He knows how to pivot when playing in the opposition half.
“Plus, he is strong with the head, which makes him effective on set-pieces as well.
“Ultimately, he is a strong national team player, which is what you need as a coach.
“Chiefs have found themselves a commander in Inacio and will be worth all the trouble that I think they have gone through in signing him.”
Inacio has had stints with Vila Real, Felgueiras, Braga B, U Cluj, Mafra and Lepasa.
He becomes Chiefs’ fifth signing of this transfer window, following the acquisitions of Bongani Sam, Rushwin Dortley, Fiacre Ntwari, and Gaston Sirino.
Amakhosi are not done in the market as they are still linked with a few players including Fawaaz Basadien and Riaan Hanamub.
