The 19-year-old has swapped French Ligue 1 for the Italian top flight
South Africa-eligible midfielder Ayanda Sishuba has secured a move to Serie A side Hellas Verona from French Ligue 1 club RC Lens.
The son of former Bafana Bafana midfielder Asanda Sishuba, the 19-year-old was born in Belgium where his father played for most of his career and grew up in the European country.
He, however, honed his skills in France, starting out at the Lens youth teams before his promotion to the senior side at the beginning of last season and made seven league appearances.
When will Ayanda Sishuba turn out for Bafana?
His appearances were all from the bench and he was looking for regular playing time hence his move to Italy amid interest from Belgian clubs.
Ayanda Sishuba is eligible to play for Bafana Bafana as he is yet to earn a call up to the Belgium national team, having represented their U19 side 10 times, while scoring three goals.
Verona has been targeting young players from the French league and Ayanda Sishuba will join another youngster Mathis Lambourde who signed from RC Strasbourg Alsace.

The youngster will seek to quickly get into the team
His father was born in Langa, Cape Town but spent all his football career in Belgium where he played for clubs like Fortune, Mouscron, Royal Antwerp, Heusden-Zolder and Sint-Truiden.
The deadline day signing was not involved in Verona’s 2-0 victory away to Genoa in the Serie A on Sunday and will hope to make his debut after the international break when Verona visit Lazio on September 15.
