Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Bathusi Aubaas will miss three crucial matches, including the highly anticipated clash against Orlando Pirates, after receiving a red card in the Nedbank Cup clash against Sibanye Golden Stars at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday.
This marks Aubaas's second red card this month, following his dismissal in the CAF Champions League match against Raja Casablanca earlier this month.
Having already served a two-match suspension in the Champions League, Aubaas will now be sidelined for three domestic matches.
This includes their upcoming fixtures against Golden Arrows, SuperSport United, and the crucial tie against Orlando Pirates.

Meanwhile, coach Cardoso expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation, highlighting that Aubaas's recurring disciplinary infractions are a cause for serious concern within the club.
MIGUEL CARDOSO ‘UNHAPPY’ WITH THE SITUATION
“That's what made me a little bit unhappy regarding the situation of Aubaas,” he said.
“Because indeed we should not have any disciplinary questions, so that we can proceed for the next games with everybody.
“I didn't see what happened so I cannot speak about that, what I know is that he got the red card and he was playing normal, it's not a question of how he was playing.
“we need to manage the emotions, I don't really know what happened. So I'll take a look and we'll see.”
