The Bafana Bafana forward showed his passion with a heated team talk
Bafana Bafana forward Lyles Foster displayed his other side when he laid into his Burnley team-mates following another loss during their dreadful Premier League campaign.
Burnley were relegated last season, having just been promoted, following a string of poor performances and it was during one of those bad spells that Foster went on a rant in the dressing room in a bid to get a tune out of his team-mates.
“Same fu**ing sh*t every week,” Foster started his rant.
“With the talent we have in this side, build a way out. We can’t play games like this man.
“The only people who should be embarrassed are ourselves here in the changing room. No one outside.
“They [fans] have given up a long time ago, should we too? Ask the U21s to play. We can go on holiday if that is the case. Where the f**k are our heads at.”
Was Foster right to have a go at his team-mates?
Foster was particularly angry at his team-mates shaking hands after a defeat.
“Playing a team like this and we come in here and its handshakes. Oh guys don’t put your heads down,” he went on.
“How do you stay motivated after sh*t like that? People are walking when they lose the ball. Heads go down when you miss a shot. Where is the team sprit here? Who the f**k are we playing for?
“Why did you start playing football, for someone else in this stadium or for yourselves because you love this game?
“Do you know how lucky we are to be here playing in the Premier League? Forget about all the materialistic tangible sh*t. Money, cars all of that just to live our dreams.
“Premier League guys, we are here, playing here. But it is like we’re scared of Bournemouth. We are scared of this and that one, who the f**k are they?”

Burnley started the new Championship season brightly
His rant did not, however, go well with team captain Jack Cork who fired back.
“Now you can fu**ing shout when you are sat there and we are here. Everybody here is trying,” said Cork.
“You can speak your mind but show some respect. I bleed through my teeth through every game.”
The South African international was not involved in the said match but headed straight to the dressing room at full-time to give his team-mates a piece of his mind.
Sadly, for Foster, the team talk did nothing to save them from relegation as the Clarets went back to the Championship in the final weeks of the campaign.
Burnley have, however, started life in the Championship brilliantly, beating Luton Town 4-1 on Monday with Foster providing an assist for one of the goals.
