Bafana Bafana have arrived in Abidjan Ivory Coast just in time for their World Cup qualifier against Benin on Tuesday.
Hugo Broos and his team, lead by SAFA president Danny Jordaan, touched down in the Ivorian capital on Sunday evening and will have training on Monday to get used to the conditions ahead of matchday when they take on the Squirrels.
The match will be played at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium which was one of the venues for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, when South Africa finished third, with Benin playing away as they lack an approved venue back home.

Bafana Bafana are full of confidence after their 2-0 victory over Lesotho on Friday that sent them top of Group C with 10 points from five matches, with Benin second on eight, Rwanda third with seven, and Nigeria with six.
Bafana Bafana in tight Group C
Lesotho have five points in what is a tight group that looks like it will go until the final round of matches to determine the team that will make it directly to next year’s World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Broos’ team, however, will feel confident of making it to the tournament and can take a giant step if they secure maximum points on Tuesday as that would take their tally to 13, five ahead of the Squirrels, while hoping that Lesotho take points off Rwanda and Zimbabwe do the same to Nigeria.
Bafana Bafana last played at the World Cup in 2010, when they hosted the tournament, and there is a hunger from fans to see them at next year’s expanded tournament that will have 48 teams.
