Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Benedict Vilakazi has urged his former team to move with speed and snap up Chippa United winger Giovanni Philander and Marumo Gallants striker Junior Zindoga.
Vilakazi has been impressed by the two players’ displays for their teams and feels Pirates can greatly benefit from their immense talents.
Tso, as he is popularly known, wants the Buccaneers to move quickly and secure the signatures of left winger Philander and Zindoga now before their prices skyrocket at the end of the season.
Tso wants Pirates to ‘fetch Philander tomorrow’

“There’s one boy that impressed me from Chippa. The left-winger Philander. Guys, I’m going to talk to the two of you [Pirates’ technical scout].’ Here’s a boy,” Vilakazi told iDiski TV.
“If you can fetch him tomorrow, he will be R1 million but when the season ends, he will be R10 million. I don’t know what people will be crying about then.”
A former Mamelodi Sundowns reserve team player, Philander joined Chippa from FN Rangers last July and has made 11 appearances while providing one assist.
Meanwhile, Vilakazi is also in awe of Zimbabwean Zindoga, who has made six appearances for Gallants since joining recently from Nsingizini Hotspurs of eSwatini.
Why is Vilakazi impressed by Zindoga?

“Here’s an opportunity now to get this boy. The other one [Zindoga] people will be crying when I talk about him,” added Vilakazi.
“Zindoga from Marumo Gallants. These are the two players. I’m talking to the two of you, there are the two players. The value right now I’m sure it’s R1 million. When the season ends, it’s R10 million. I don’t know what you guys want.”
Pirates were not active in the midseason transfer window but are expected to do a lot of business at the end of the season as they have areas that need strengthening in defence, midfield and attack.
With the uncertain futures Monnapule Saleng, who has been frozen from the team, and Gilberto, back on loan in Angola, a winger and a striker are likely to be on their wish list at the end of the season.
