Betway Premiership gets into Match Week 14 for most teams this weekend with five matches lined up from Friday up to Sunday.
Leaders Mamelodi Sundowns and second-placed Orlando Pirates are not involved and so are Stellenbosch, owing to their CAF commitments, with the Brazilians out to make it to the Champions League quarter-final and join the other PSL sides who have already qualified.
Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune will therefore serve up the glamour league tie of the weekend but Polokwane City, Cape Town City and Golden Arrows are the other teams who have been doing well recently and will be hoping to maintain their fine runs.
Afrik-Foot brings you the match-by-match guide for Week 14.

Cape Town City vs Richards Bay

Cape Town City welcomed interim coach Muhsin Ertugral with a bang when they recorded back-to-back wins against Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates but were handed a reality check by Marumo Gallants last weekend.
Ertugral’s team had mastered the art of defending and hitting on the break against the Soweto giants but were served a dose of their own medicine by Gallants which will offer Richards Bay encouragement on Friday evening.
Richards Bay are in 14th position with nine points and can boost their survival chances if they beat seventh-placed Cape Town given in seven meetings, the Citizens have three wins while they have two.
SuperSport United vs Polokwane City

Also playing on Friday are SuperSport United who host Polokwane City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in a tricky game for both.
Matsatsantsa have had a poor season by their standards, sitting 10th on the log and what is worrying coach Gavin Hunt is their inability to score after just five goals in 13 matches.
Polokwane, meanwhile, are fourth on the table after putting together a five-match unbeaten run although back-to-back draws have slowed them down somewhat.
SuperSport have been inconsistent this season, winning just four matches, and are out to bounce back after last week’s shock defeat to bottom-placed Magesi.

Golden Arrows vs TS Galaxy

Another team that have been on the up are Golden Arrows, who surprised Kaizer Chiefs, by handing them a 1-0 defeat last weekend.
Arrows have lost just one of their last five, with two wins and as many draws, leaving them in fifth place but Galaxy are also unbeaten over that period, making up for a feisty contest at the Mpumalanga Stadium.
Victory for Galaxy can take them into the top seven while Arrows have a chance to close in on the top three with maximum points, adding to the motivation.
Chipp United vs Marumo Gallants

A meeting of struggling teams, Chippa find themselves in an unfamiliar 12th place on 14 points, level with Saturday’s opponents Gallants, after four wins and five defeats which led to the departure of coach Kwanelo Kopo.
The Chilli Boys have lost their last two games and are under pressure to change the poor run but Gallants are buoyed by last week’s win over Cape Town, which gives them belief of adding struggling Chippa to their list of casualties at the Buffalo City Municipality Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs vs Sekhukhune United

It is difficult to predict what to get from Kaizer Chiefs these days as they can go from beating Stellenbosch to losing to Golden Arrows or lead 2-0 and end up with a 2-2 draw.
However, ahead of Sunday’s contest against Sekhukhune United, Chiefs will have to approach it cautiously as their opponents are unbeaten in five, having won four and drawn one over that period.
That fine run has sent Babina Noko to third on the table and will face Chiefs knowing they have every chance of securing maximum points if they take advantage of Amakhosi’s weaknesses.
For Chiefs, it is all about finding consistency which has been lacking as winning one, drawing another and losing the next game will not take them to the ‘Promised Land.’
With injuries mounting, a thin Chiefs squad will have to rise to the occasion at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.
