Published on by

The Betway Premiership will enter matchweek 24 for most teams this weekend with matches scheduled on Saturday March 29 and Sunday March 30.

Of the so-called Big Three, only Kaizer Chiefs will be in action this weekend but there is still plenty to look out for in the six matches set to be played.

Chippa United vs AmaZulu (15.30)

Arthur Zwane sends warning to Pirates ahead of league clash

AmaZulu have seen their great form of 2025 disappear and enter the match on a three-match winless run while Chippa United won last time out.

Usuthu are unbeaten against the Chilli Boys in their last four meetings, winning three and drawing one and that included a 2-0 win last October.

Prediction:  Chippa 1-2 AmaZulu

Golden Arrows have experienced some change in fortunes since the return of coach Manqoba Mngqithi and there could be more in the offing as they host struggling Kaizer Chiefs.

Arrows have inflicted pain on Chiefs in recent years, winning three of their last meetings, including the corresponding fixture, and after watching Richards Bay down Nasreddine Nabi’s team, they will feel confident of securing all three points.

Prediction: Arrows 2-2 Chiefs

Magesi FC vs Stellenbosch (17:45)

Third placed Stellenbosch are challenging for a second successive podium finish in the PSL and face Magesi FC who have won their last two games.

However, that will not faze Steve Barker’s team, who won the first leg 2-1, and will look to finish the job early.

Prediction: Magesi 0-2 Stellenbosch

SUNDAY 30 MARCH, 2025

Polokwane City vs Richards Bay (15:30)

Richards Bay have greatly boosted their survival chances after losing just one of their last five games which includes two wins, one against Kaizer Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Polokwane have no win in their last eight games putting them under pressure against a resurgent Richards Bay team who beat them 2-0 in February.

Prediction: Polokwane 1-1 Richards Bay

TS Galaxy vs Marumo Gallants (17.30)

TS Galaxy, who are closing in on third spot on the table, face third from bottom Gallants and go into the match after winning three of their last four games.

The Rockets, who drew 1-1 with Gallants in the first leg, are firm favourites to win this time.

Prediction: Galaxy 2-0 Gallants

SuperSport United vs Cape Town City (17:45)

Cape Town, placed 13th on the table, sacked Muhsin Ertugral while SuperSport, who are second from bottom, dismissed Gavin Hunt in a bid to revive their fortunes and avoid relegation.

Prediction: SuperSport 1-1 Cape Town
