Billiat opens up on his future following Yadah exit

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has addressed his future after a successful season with Yadah FC in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

The 34-year-old was recognized for his outstanding performances, finishing as the second runner-up for Player of the Season and winning the Fan's Player of the Year award.

Despite missing eight games due to injury and suspension, Billiat made a significant impact, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists in 26 appearances.

His impressive form has attracted interest from several clubs, including Sekhukhune United.

While a return to Kaizer Chiefs remains a possibility, given the disciplinary issues surrounding Gaston Sirino, Billiat's management is currently exploring various options in the Betway Premiership.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR KHAMA BILLIAT?

“Obviously, a lot is being said right now. And it’s natural for people to say things. But right now, I am focusing on improving myself and celebrating these wins. I will surely move, but the whereto has not yet been decided,” said Billiat.

“I can’t really say much about the future, but all I can say is that something big will come. We are working on something.

“And obviously, the key thing is to value and celebrate the time we had at Yadah FC. I am getting all the attention because of that move to Yadah.

“So my next destination will be revealed in due time, but now I’m celebrating this success.”
