A new injury update on Burnley FC striker Lyle Foster, who sustained an injury during their match against West Bromwich Albion earlier this week, has emerged.
Foster featured as a second-half substitute against West Brom on Tuesday but was unfortunately forced off the pitch late in the game due to the injury.
Despite this setback, Foster received a call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers next week.
In positive news, Foster came on in the second half when Burnley defeated Swansea City 2-0 in the Championship on Saturday.
The striker is highly likely to be part of Bafana team that play qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin later this month.

FOSTER FEATURED FOR BURNLEY THIS SATURDAY AGAINST SWANSEA
Meanwhile, ahead of Swansea clash, Parker revealed that Foster had improved from the condition he was in after their previous match against West Brom.
“We just need to check on him, but he's improved drastically from the other night,” said Parker as per Burnley Express.
“Maybe there was an option not to bring him off, but we only had one more sequence of subs remaining, so I didn't want to run the risk of bringing two on and then Lyle couldn't go there.
“But he's coming better today, so we'll see where we are tomorrow [Saturday] with Lyle to know exactly where we are.”
