Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Peterson has asserted that international break is holding them up as they are looking forward to the next game.
Peterson made these remarks during the Carling Knockout Cup draw held in Sandton on Tuesday.
He emphasised that the team is already focused on their next game, buoyed by the confidence stemming from the strong start they had to the season.
PETERSON ON CHIEFS CONFIDENCE
“We are itching to get going now. The supporters, the players, everyone is looking forward to the next game,” said Peterson
“All this because we can see progress now. The mentality that we have now is that we take it one game at a time.
There is a lesson in everything that we are doing and things are looking really good.
“There is progress you can see. The whole technical team has brought a different vibe into the squad and things are slowly falling in place for the good of the team.”

Peterson, who has been sidelined for quite some time due to injury, confirmed his return to training.
He expressed his eagerness to resume competitive play.
PETERSON ON RETURNING FROM INJURY
“You know I have been out with injury but now I am back in training. I have been training for the past two days and everything looks good.
“I am looking forward to be with the team and travelling with the team. I am excited to be back and I am looking at being with the team now.”
