Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has lauded coach Nasreddine Nabi for completely changing the mentality of players in the short period he has been at the club.
Chiefs look revitalised under the Tunisian coach, who has led them to two wins and a loss in their first three league games, as they continue to build a strong team that will challenge for titles in the future.
Bvuma is among those thrilled by the changes at the club which he feels has completely changed how the players approach games.
Ahead of their CUFA Cup match against Marumo Gallants on Sunday, Bvuma says the players are heading into the fixture with a different mindset unlike before, all thanks to what Nabi has instilled in them.
Why is Bvuma thrilled with coach Nabi?
“I think that’s where the mentality part comes in,” Bvuma told the media on Thursday, in regards to how they plan to attack Gallants.
“Because even with the friendly games we’ve played, the coach made it clear that for him, there are no friendly games. We need to take it seriously. So, we’re going into this game, we’re preparing well, knowing that we need to go out there and win the game.
“It feels different, not only because we started the way we started, but as I mentioned the mentality has changed a lot.
Chiefs are undergoing great transformation

“We are taking games very seriously, not that we haven’t in the past, but it feels different.
“The coaches, they’ve brought in, like a different experience, and I feel like it’s been working for us.”
Chiefs have looked a different side in structure during their recent matches with Nabi earning praise for the changes he has brought in.
Amakhosi are staying in shape during the international break before they resume league action with a match against SuperSport United on October 26.
