Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has addressed the critical remarks made by his former teammate Itumeleng Khune about Amakhosi’s goalkeepers.
Bvuma has responded to criticism from his former Chiefs teammate, legendary goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune.
The two played together for a significant period at the Phefeni Glamour Boys before Khune's departure at the end of the 2023/24 season.
While Khune was often the preferred choice, Bvuma served as his understudy at times.
Khune recently commented on what he described as a poor goalkeeping department at Chiefs, citing it as the reason for the frequent changes in goals this season.
Bvuma stated that he respects constructive criticism from a legend like Khune and is focused on his own improvement as a ‘keeper.

BVUMA SAYS HE RESPECTS CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM FROM KHUNE
“Itu is a club legend, what he has done for our team, I don’t think anyone of our generation will do,” said Bvuma as quoted by iDiski Times.
“What he has done for the country is very big. I respect him. I do talk to him, I do talk to Itu and whatever happened, what he said he said.
“My focus is the team, my focus is me doing well for the team and also making sure that I play to my full potential.”
