Al Ahly captain Mohamed El-Shennawy has outlined his team's strategy for overcoming Orlando Pirates in their final CAF Champions League group stage match.
While both teams have already secured their places in the quarterfinals, the match will determine group leadership and the subsequent draw.
El-Shennawy emphasized the importance of utilizing the passionate support of their home crowd to secure victory over the South African giants.

“The match against Orlando Pirates will be very difficult. We are preparing well for the match, and we are ready for it,” said El-Shennawy as quoted by FARPost.
“And we know how difficult it is against a strong competitor, and our goal is to win and obtain the group lead.
“Orlando Pirates is a strong team. And has achieved many victories at home and away in the group stage. This means that the match will require a lot of effort and focus.
“We are waiting for the fans to be present in large numbers to support us. And for them to give us enthusiasm and a special atmosphere. We have great confidence in them.
“We, as players, train hard. And the transfers is not within my jurisdiction or Kohler’s [Coach], the technical director’s jurisdiction.
“We only have to work hard on the field and renew our motivation to continue achieving victories. Our goal is always for Al-Ahly to remain in first place, win titles and please its fans.”
